Finance Manager
European Bartender School is looking for a Finance Manager to join our international team! This job is open to candidates within Spain and Internationally

Here’s what you’ll do:
- Lead financial planning and performance, own budgeting, forecasting and Financial Planning and Analysis processes, simplifying them to support the company's OKRs and business plan
- Produce monthly, quarterly and annual performance packs that give the leadership team clear, actionable insights for critical decisions
- Run the finance calendar and core operations, oversee month-end close, accounts payable and receivable, controlling, and cash flow management.
- Manage tax and compliance, oversee the organisation's taxation across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with external tax advisers
- Drive profitability, proactively identify cost-tracking opportunities and improvement projects, and support cross-functional initiatives across marketing, sales and operations
- Build deep knowledge of every business area and work alongside the leadership team as a trusted financial voice
- Develop a high-performing team: lead a team of 3+, structure it for success, and use technology and automation to move it from manual tasks to strategic, value-adding work
Job requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline
5+ years' experience in finance, with at least 2 years in an FP&A, controlling or finance management role.
- Strong track record in budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and cash flow management.
- Solid knowledge of Spanish accounting standards (PGC) and tax, with experience in coordinating in multiple jurisdictions
- Ability to turn financial data into clear business insights and present them confidently to senior leadership.
- Fluent in English, Spanish is a strong plus
- Experience driving finance automation or digital transformation projects.
- Proactive and autonomous, comfortable spotting opportunities and delivering results without close supervision
- Structured and detail-oriented, but able to simplify processes and see the bigger picture
