Bartender Wanted

As a Bartender at Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional and personalized beverage service while ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience. You will prepare and serve beverages in accordance with established recipes, presentation standards, and responsible service practices. The role requires excellent product knowledge, attention to detail, and professional guest engagement, while consistently adhering to the hotel’s and Hilton’s standards, policies, and procedures.

Specifically, as a Bartender for Waldorf Astoria Maldives you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Deliver exceptional, friendly, and personalized guest service at all times.
- Take ownership and initiative in resolving guest concerns and service issues.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, courteously, and according to hotel standards.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Prepare, mix, garnish, and present beverages consistently using approved recipes and portion controls.
- Maintain daily bar setup, cleanliness, organization, and adequate stock levels.
- Manage fresh fruits, garnishes, juices, and other perishable items to ensure quality and freshness.
- Greet guests warmly, promote beverages, record orders, and ensure accurate service.
- Operate the POS system accurately and maintain accountability for all transactions.
- Handle cash, vouchers, payments, and cash deposits in accordance with established procedures.
- Verify guest identification and responsibly manage situations involving intoxicated guests in line with liquor laws.
- Promote Hilton services, hotel facilities, restaurants, attractions, and other guest experiences.
- Maintain awareness of outlet operating hours, menus, and services to provide accurate recommendations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, professional, and welcoming environment while following all hotel policies and procedures.
- Report incidents, accidents, maintenance issues, and guest concerns promptly, and perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

- Strong background in Bartender is a MUST
- Describes all bar items; methods of preparation and prices as needed. Must have extensive knowledge of all bar/menu items
- Management and/or supervisory Food and Beverage experience
- Able to meet financial targets
- Ability to comply with all Food and Beverage brand standards
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent grooming standards
- Willingness to develop team members and self
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work on your own or in teams
