Program Objective:
To provide interns with hands-on experience in guest experience management within a multi-unit hospitality group.
Interns will develop skills in customer experience coordination, communication, feedback analysis, teamwork, and service quality, preparing them for future roles in hospitality, tourism, or guest experience management.
Leading Tours for New Guests:
•Conduct guided tours of the unit, introducing guests to common areas, facilities, and safety procedures.
•Provide guests with useful information about the services (e.g., laundry, kitchen, common spaces, etc.).
Organizing and Promoting In-House Events:
•Working closely with the Experience Coordinator on daily tasks and projects to plan, promote, and host events.
•Use social media, flyers and word-of-mouth to promote these events.
•Identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities to enhance the customer experience and boost sales.
•Maintain a calendar of activities and tours for guests.
Assisting with Partnerships for Local Tours and Experiences:
•Coordinate with local businesses to offer discounted or exclusive experiences for guests.
•Gather guest feedback after tours to ensure high-quality experiences.
Guest Engagement, Communication and Interaction:
•Guest check-ins and check-outs.
•Establish empathetic and close communication with guests, ensuring they feel valued and heard.
•Promote interaction and socializing among guests, fostering a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
•Regularly interact with guests to gather suggestions for events or tours.
•Ensure guests feel welcomed and encouraged to participate in events.
•Use guest feedback to improve event planning and partner experiences.
Bar Management and Sales:
•Take responsibility for bar sales, ensuring the effective promotion of available products.
•Create a dynamic, inviting, and comfortable space that encourages guests to consume and linger.
