We are recruiting for the role of Bar Tender to join our bar and restaurant team on a Full Time basis in the Cork International Hotel.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve hot and cold beverages and food in a professional, polite, and friendly manner.
- Prepare and maintain the bar area to ensure it is clean, organised, and ready for service.
- Stock and restock the bar according to company procedures.
- Operate the till system and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Keep the bar counter, tables, and service areas clean and tidy at all times.
- Clear empty glasses and bottles promptly and maintain a clean environment for guests.
- Assist with receiving and organising stock deliveries.
- Help prepare and display food service areas in the bar when required.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest requests or concerns professionally.
- Report any guest complaints or issues to a supervisor or manager.
Health, Safety & Standards
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all bar areas.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including fire and emergency procedures.
- Serve alcohol responsibly and follow all relevant legislation, including age verification.
- Ensure the safety of guests, colleagues, and yourself while on duty.
- Help maintain the bar environment, including cleanliness, lighting, and furniture arrangement.
The ideal candidate:
· 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
· Warm, positive personality with genuine interest in guest care
· Team player and also willing to use own initiative when needed
Team & Development
- Attend training sessions, staff meetings, and development programmes when required.
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow instructions and support management with any additional duties as required.
