Tito’s is looking for a strong Sous Chef or Senior Chef ready to take the next step into a Head Chef role. This is a great opportunity for someone who already understands how a kitchen runs and is now ready to lead a team, with support from management.
We are a friendly, well-established restaurant in Praia da Luz, specialising in Mediterranean cuisine, quality ingredients, and a positive working environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, with guidance and support as you grow fully into the role:
•Leading and organising the kitchen team
•Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
•Applying and maintaining HACCP and Portuguese food safety regulations
•Stock control, prep planning, and minimising waste
•Ensuring consistency and quality during service
We’re Looking For
•Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef
•Ready to step into a leadership role
•Confident with kitchen organisation and service flow
•Solid knowledge of Portuguese hygiene & food safety standards (mandatory)
•Passion for Mediterranean cuisine
•Calm, reliable, and team-focused
•Fluent English (essential)
