Conrad Indianapolis is looking for a Banquet Bartender to join the Food and Beverage Team! This is an amazing opportunity to grow your career in a Fortune 500 company within a sophisticated luxury brand.
As the city's first true luxury hotel and only Forbes recommended hotel in the state, this 23-story tower has 241 rooms, 15,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes The Capital Grille, Tastings - Wine Bar & Bistro, and in-room dining.
· Classification: On-Call
· Shift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
What will I be doing?
A Banquet Bartender is responsible for serving beverages to guests in banquet rooms in a friendly, courteous and timely and manner, resulting in
guest satisfaction. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards
- Present and serve beverages to guests
- Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations
- Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards and vouchers
- Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
- Respond professionally to inebriated guests, as needed
- Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
