Responsabilities: Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant, bar, and banquet operations, ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction.
Support the Restaurant Manager in staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
Monitor service standards, ensuring that all food and beverage service meets hotel quality requirements.
Assist in training and coaching team members to enhance service skills, professionalism, and team engagement.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a courteous, proactive, and efficient manner.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and operational policies and procedures.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to coordinate smooth service, timely delivery of orders, and consistent presentation standards.
Monitor inventory levels, assist in stock control, and report any shortages or discrepancies.
Participate in daily briefings, team meetings, and required training sessions.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, setting a positive example for team members.
Support the development and implementation of promotions, seasonal menus, and special events.
Analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure proper handling and presentation of banquet or event setups, coordinating closely with other departments.
Foster a positive team culture, motivating staff and promoting collaboration across F&B outlets.
Assist in controlling costs, monitoring budgets, and optimizing operational efficiency while maintaining service excellence.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within 4- or 5-star hotels or upscale restaurants.
Proven experience in food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, and banquet services.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a clear customer service orientation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Basic knowledge of POS systems and hotel management software (PMS such as Opera, etc.).
Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish or other languages is a plus.
Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
Strong understanding of hygiene, safety, and food handling standards.
Ability to analyze feedback, monitor performance, and implement improvements.
