Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bar Supervisor to join our team at the luxurious Constance Halaveli resort in the Maldives. As a Bar Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional beverage service and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests in our tropical paradise setting. • Oversee the daily operations of the bar, maintaining high standards of service and efficiency • Warmly welcome guests and provide attentive, personalised service throughout their visit
•Manage and motivate the bar team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment • Ensure all beverages are prepared and presented to the resort's exacting standards • Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and control beverage costs • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all beverage offerings, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic options
•Contribute creative ideas for new cocktails and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and drive sales • Enforce strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution • Assist with staff scheduling, daily reporting, and bar requisitions • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of bar operations • Collaborate effectively with restaurant and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service
Qualifications•Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management or Bar Operations from a recognised institution • 1-3 years of experience in bar or restaurant service within a 4- or 5-star hotel or resort • Excellent knowledge of beverages, mixology, and service techniques • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous • Thorough understanding of hygiene and safety regulations in food and beverage service
•Proficiency in computer systems and bar management software • Knowledge of Maldivian culture and customs • Ability to work effectively in a tropical island environment • Excellent swimming skills • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment • Goal-oriented with a commitment to achieving high standards of service • Organised and efficient in managing multiple tasks and responsibilities
