An opportunity has arisen for a Bar Manager to join the summer season 2026 of Jumeirah Capri Palace. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
•Oversees, trains and promotes staff.
•Responsible for managing all bar outlets, ensuring your team are providing service excellence with each customer experience.
•Ensure the bar is consistently prepared and always stocked through ordering and adequate planning.
•Plans, develops and conducts training to ensure the team maintains a clean bar area.
•Leads thoughtfully and dynamically by providing motivation and support to the team.
•Develops recipes and bar and bar snack menus.
•Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new guests to create memorable moments and enable future bookings.
•Maintains inventory and ensures the bar is neatly organised and clean.
•Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to Beverage Recipes.
•Serves alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages according to defined standards.
•Ensures that the guest is presented with the correct order and that all drinks are prepared and served as agreed in the standard operating procedures.
•Maintains a complete knowledge of cocktails, beverages and wines to advise the guests and colleagues when necessary.
•Collects money for drinks served and process financial transactions according to Jumeirah cashiering procedures.
•Ensures that all stock is established as per par levels and stored according to the Food Hygiene Standards.
•Maintains accurate and up-to-date temperature records for all fridge units within the bar whilst on duty.
