Responsibilities:
Drink Preparation:
- Create cocktails and prepare drinks according to standard recipes and guest requests.
- Ensure the quality of ingredients and the presentation of beverages.
Team Management:
- Supervise and train bar staff, ensuring strong collaboration and efficient service.
- Assign tasks within the team to guarantee smooth operations.
Order & Stock Management:
- Manage beverage and ingredient orders, ensuring sufficient stock levels.
- Keep the bar well-stocked, organized, and operational at all times.
Cash Handling:
- Manage financial transactions, including cash and card payments.
- Handle opening and closing of the cash register, preparing daily reports as needed.
Customer Service:
- Greet guests with courtesy and professionalism.
- Answer questions and handle complaints effectively.
Hygiene & Safety:
- Comply with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized bar at all times.
Required Skills:
- Previous international experience as a bartender is an asset.
- Prior experience in Africa is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
- Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of cash management tools.
