The Barman/Barmaid reports directly to the Restaurant Manager

Main Responsibilities:

- Have a very good understanding of the outlet’s concept and food and beverage offerings including promotions and be able to verbally explain those to the guests
- Make cocktails or prepare drinks behind the bar
- Contribute, day after day, to the smooth running of his/her department, in accordance with Mandarin Oriental guidelines and standards and local customs.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement among the restaurant colleagues.

Job Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years experience working in a luxury hotel environment. European experience is a must
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
- Ability to communicate in proper English & French both verbally and in writing
- Excellent overall communication skills
- Able to multi-task
- You will have exceptional inter-personal and organizational skills
- Must be of smart appearance with excellent personal hygiene standards
