Join us at Bar Teatro as we seek a dynamic Bar Manager ready to take ownership and demonstrate genuine engagement in our vibrant establishment.
The role encompasses both operational and strategic tasks, offering an exciting opportunity to lead our bar team to new heights. As the Bar Manager, you will oversee all aspects of bar operations, from inventory management to staff scheduling. Your creativity will shine as you curate and update an exceptional cocktail menu, reflecting our brand's identity and the latest mixology trends. Given our position at one of Oslo's most vibrant theater scenes, applying for this role should stem from your passion for managing large volumes of bar guests simultaneously. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in training, motivating, and leading our team of bartenders, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients, as well as monitoring and controlling beverage costs and budgets to maximize profitability.
We are looking for individuals who possess:
- Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Previous experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role within a cocktail-focused establishment.
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, mixology techniques, and a passion for staying abreast of industry trends.
- A commitment to providing excellent service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with familiarity in inventory management and cost control.
- Integrity, honesty, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels using digital tools.
- A pioneering spirit, embracing innovation and sustainability in their craft.
- An outgoing personality with positive energy, coupled with strong organizational skills and a dedication to maintaining good routines.
