Barback

The job
The Do Not Disturb Barback is responsible for ensuring that the DND bar team always has the tools required to serve customers continuously on shift. Our Barback will keep all of the stations fully stocked with products, utensils and ice at all times. Our ideal candidate is interested in growing into a bartender role and someone who can work well under pressure in a team environment. Our Barback must be very personable, organized, and diligent in completing tasks. This fast paced environment asks our Barback to perform at the highest level, ensuring excellent service to our guests and our Do Not Disturb team members on the floor.



Responsibilities
· Making sure everything is properly stocked
Basic prep work behind the bar
Positive attitude and aim to provide great communication skills
Assist, support, and work with the bar and floor staff
Set up and breakdown tables if needed
Understand the operational set up and principle of the venue
Provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times


Requirements
Attentiveness and patience for customers
Passion for hospitality
English needs to be spoken fluently
Aim to deliver excellent presentation skills
Organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
Active listening and effective communication skills
Be comfortable standing for long periods of time
Capable of lifting up heavy items
Team spirit
Ability to have a flexible schedule and be able to work on nights, weekends, and or holidays
