Hotel DeBrett has exciting opportunities for the right candidates to join our award winning team in the heart of Auckland City.
Located in the centre of Auckland's re-emerging inner city entertainment precinct, Hotel DeBrett lies at the nexus of restaurants, bars and cafes spanning the wider Shortland/High Street quarter.
Comprising a 60-seater restaurant, two bars, multiple function spaces and 25 suites and rooms, Hotel DeBrett is becoming one of Auckland's premier restaurant and bar destinations. Our House Bar and Corner Bar continue to build a reputation for providing a warm and welcoming environment where a great selection of New Zealand craft beers are on offer and where one can enjoy a professionally assembled cocktail or delightful wine.
Exciting opportunities exists for an experienced professionals to join our award winning team. We are looking for an experienced bartender to join our Corner Bar Team and also wait staff for our Kitchen Restaurant
The ideal candidates for these roles will have :
· Demonstrated customer service experience in a food & beverage role with minimum 2 year experience in a similar role.
· Comprehensive knowledge of New Zealand craft beers, wines, spirits and cocktails
. Ability to work as part of a team
· Immaculate presentation with outstanding communications skills
· Excellent command of English
· Vibrant personality with a strong sense of initiative
· A desire to exceed customers expectations.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends (closed Sunday and public holidays!)
· Experience in Wizbang point of sales will be an advantage
· Current LCQ Cert required and GM certificate is a bonus for the bartender position
