We are looking for a Senior Bartender. The applicants must have professional experience and provide references:
• Minimum 3 years bartending experience in a Resort cocktail Bar, Hotel Lobby Bar or Small Bar where guest satisfaction and drink quality are integral to operations
• Demonstrate leadership skills in motivating a small team
• Current Wine, Spirit, Cocktail and Professional service knowledge and etiquette expected
• Stickler for bar presentation and cleanliness
• Must have good communication skills with guests from varied backgrounds
• Appropriate industry skills (POS, stocktakes)
• You will be expected to assist in training staff to maintain quality standards of service
• Assist in development of procedures, recipes and beverage list
• Remote locations experience and a second language a plus
This position is 6 days per week and requires someone who is flexible, resilient, patient, approachable and possess a good sense of humour. This is a dynamic tropical environment where the local people are proud of their culture and family heritage and where ex-pat workers are expected to set positive examples both personally and professionally.
This contract is for 2 years. The remuneration package also includes free accommodation, daily staff meal, company paid return airfares and immigration costs. This package is underpinned by the benefits associated with working for the leading hotel company in the region and with the support of a progressive and professional management team.
