Hello, I'm Benjamin.

Young, aspiring bartender from Zurich, Switzerland. Having been introduced to mixology by my brother, I’ve been mixing juices, mocktails, and cocktails since I was eight years old, creating hand-drawn bar menus to go along with them.



Due to my early inspiration in the creation of drinks, getting a professional education in the field was a long-standing dream, which didn‘t fade for years until I finally got to realize it as soon as I turned 18, at EBS Sydney. Throughout the course, I consistently gave my best, finishing at the top end of the class and winning multiple speed and control competitions. Additionally, I‘ve completed the EBS mixology course, which created a new passion for bartending I didn‘t previously know a lot about. My final cocktail won a cocktail competition. During the four-week program, we were taught all about the theoretical aspects of bartending, such as expansive education on liquors, liqueurs and alcoholic beverages through masterclasses, as well as a lot of practical bartending at the practice and live bars. In July 2024 I graduated from Kantonsschule Freudenberg in Zurich, where I developed a broad skill set, including strong language proficiency: German (native): Mother tongue. English (C1/C2; proficient) I have been educated in English from the moment I entered the scholar system. (Swiss International School, 2012-2018; Kantonsschule Freudenberg Zürich, 2018-2024). French (fluent): Eight years of education in French (Swiss International School, 2016-2018; Kantonsschule Freudenberg Zürich, 2018-2024). Italian (basic): Three years of education in Italian (Kantonsschule Freudenberg Zürich, 2020-2023). Since July 2024, I have been employed at Talacker Augen Zentrum Zürich as a part-time medical assistant, amounting to about 9 months of work experience. I've taken breaks for travel, military service, and higher education. From January to May 2025, I completed my mandatory military service in Switzerland. I have studied one semester of "Health Sciences and Technology" at ETH Zurich in the autumn semester of 2025, which I have quit to pursue medicine, starting in September of 2026. I have gained working bartending experience mainly from events up to 70 people, which I have most often planned for, prepared and executed on my own. I am currently looking for an occupation in the field that will help me expand my experience and knowledge while also putting to the test what I have learned.
