Hello, I'm Benjamin.
Young aspiring bartender from Zurich, Switzerland. Being introduced to bartending by my brother, I‘ve been mixing juices, mocktails, cocktails for friends and family from the age of 8, making hand drawn bar menus for friends and family.
Due to my early inspiration in the creation of drinks getting a professional education in the field was a long standing dream, which didn‘t fade for years until I finally got to realize it as soon as I turned 18. During the course I gave all I had, finishing at the top end of the class, as well as topping the class in speed and control competitions multiple times. Additionally, I‘ve completed the EBS mixology course which created a new love for bartending I didn‘t previously know a lot about. My final cocktail ended up winning a cocktail competition. During the four week course, we were taught all about the theoretical aspects of bartending, such as expansive education on liquers, spirits and liqueurs through masterclasses, as well as a lot of practical bartending at the practice- and live bar. I am currently looking for any occupation in the field that will help me expand my knowledge and experience, while also testing what I have learned. In July 2024 I graduated at Kantonsschule Freudenberg in Zurich, where I finished with an extensive repertoire of skills, including knowledge in the following languages. German (native): Mother tongue. English (C1/C2; advanced) I have been educated in english from the moment I entered the scholar system. (Swiss International School, 2012-2018; Kantonsschule Freudenberg Zürich 2018-2024). French (fluent): 8 year education in french (Swiss International School, 2016-2018; Kantonsschule Freudenberg Zürich 2018-2024). Italian (basic): 3 year education in italian (Kantonsschule Freudenberg Zürich, 2020-2023). Since July 2024 I have been employed at Talacker Augen Zentrum Zürich as a part-time medical assistant with about 7 months of work experience. I've taken breaks for travel, military service and higher education. From January to May 2025 I completed my mandatory military service in Switzerland. As of September 2025 I’m currently studying Health Sciences and Technology at ETH Zurich in the first semester.
