

Hello, I'm Amaranta.
I am enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable, responsible, and hard-working. I am a mature team worker and adaptable to all challenging situations. I am well organized and always plan ahead to make sure I manage my time well.
I grew up in my family's Italian restaurant in Ecuador where I had the opportunity to learn hand-in-hand with my father of Italian descent, taking charge of the organization of the room and customer service. In 2021 I moved to Toronto, Canada, and was working alongside the chef of the BBQ restaurant Smoque N Bones where I was in charge of assisting him in preparing sauces and smoked meats during the weeks, while on the weekends I was in charge of supervising salon staff and customer service. In 2023, I started working at the Mexican restaurant Cool Hand of a Girl as a line kitchen assistant and barista until I was promoted to the main cook and manager of the establishment, with my responsibility being the preparation of food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. In my work experience, I have been a dishwasher, cashier, waitress, cook, barista, supervisor, and manager in restaurants, and I would like to gain experience as a bartender in the future.
