Hard Work
Julius Dorian

Hello, I'm Julius Dorian.

Homeschooled all his life. Committed to highest quality with vast international experience. Customer satisfaction driven, innovative, strong leadership skills and work ethics, adaptable to new locations, environments, and cultures.

I have been home-educated my entire life, slow travelling full time with my family, and living in over 25 different countries immersed in the local cultures. These experiences have helped me develop versatility and both global and local understanding of people, current issues, and new opportunities. I am confident this lifestyle has equipped me with the traits necessary for a world class bartender. I am fully bilingual - I speak both English and Polish fluently. For the last decade I have been dining in a remarkable number of restaurants around the world daily including street food stalls in bustling Bangkok, Penang and Phuket, a Michelin-star famous hawker stall at a night market in Singapore, small family-run restaurants in Bali and the Dominican Republic, traditional tea houses in China and Vietnam, tapas bars in Spain, commercial eateries and food courts in Malaysian and Thai shopping malls, and elegant establishments at hotels in Europe, Asia, Middle East, and Australia. These intensive experiences have allowed me to understand what quality of service really means, what common service mistakes are notoriously made in restaurants, bars and hotels around the world, that in some places specific requirements need to be met to address religious and cultural needs of customers, what kind of service I appreciate as a customer myself and would like to see introduced, and what kind of ideas could serve as an inspiration. The fact that I grew up with parents who are quality control assessors has helped me naturally develop an eye for detail and understanding of why things work, and what can and should be improved to offer better service and highest standards. I have learned how to offer constructive feedback, communicate openly, and suggest improvements in a professional way. I am confident that I can make a real difference though my skills, my extensive experience in the world and with my open-mindedness, creativity and friendly personality, and I am interested in sharing them where they can be fully appreciated. At this point of my life, I feel that I would preferably like to settle down, put my vast life experience to best use, and commit myself to a professional growth and mastering my craft as a bartender, which Is my passion. I would like to maintain connections with multinational communities as this kind of context is something that I am used to and thrive in. Working for respectable and quality-oriented establishments will help me put my experience into great use, surround myself with people sharing similar values and appreciation for the highest quality. I am looking forward to learning from the best, constantly improving myself professionally, and building respectful and positive relationships in a workplace where everyone is committed to the highest standards.
