Hello, I'm Cécile.

Sensitive to the different arts of living, in particular Bartending and Mixology, I am looking to train in the field. Friendly, respectful, conscientious, I am especially looking forward to learning from passionate professionals !

After a season in Brittany, as a waitress in a café-brasserie, I wanted to discover the world of Hospitality. The daily life within a team, the stimulating contact with guests, as well as the attention given to the very last detail in service fascinated me ! Back in Lyon, I found a job as a barmaid at La Cité des Halles , a cultural third place and bar. Theses 10 months have confirmed my desire to evolve in this environment. And the frustration of only making a few cocktails there, with nothing more than liqueurs (drinks laws depending on establishment), made me thirsty for discoveries. Today I would like to broaden my field of knowledge and creation, through spirits and Mixology. The latter seems to bring together everything that drives me : Creation, Research, Method, Attention to Detail, Aesthetic Experience, Travel... This is why I turned to EBS Cape-town. I wanted to discover a country and study in the same time. Now I can tell that I was introduced to the main spirits, the 66 major cocktails don’t have any secret for me... But I'm even more curious, there stills so much to unearth, so I can’t wait to learn, improve myself and perform behind a real bar !
