Hello, I'm Bella.

Enthusiastic, hard-working bartender from Cape Town, South Africa with fast learning abilities. I tend to start off quiet and shy but don't take that as a liability as my ears are always listening and eyes always watching and learning!

I get along with everyone, all my colleagues and customers. Don't get me wrong I have bad days like everyone else but on those types of days I try to fake it till I make it. I do however, let my colleagues know that I'm having one of those days so that there is an understanding throughout the shift and not constant tension, but my customers will always see my best, energetic self. When asked by my co-workers for my opinions, I voice them loud and clear as I am very opinionated. I like to keep my bar organized and clean as a clean workspace keeps a clear head space and ready for action. I give my work all I've got and like to show that I really want to be there. At Pakalolo, where I currently work, I truly love it. All my colleagues are great to work with and with each and every single one of them we have a different way of working with each other. As each of us are unique and work differently we find a way to work with one another in a way that'll work for us all and I love that. My bosses are amazing and I'm not just saying that because they are my bosses, I truly have learnt a lot from each of them and from each of them something different. They've opened my eyes to different ways of doing different things, ranging from ways of handling a tough situation to ways of having fun even though you're working. This great work environment that I've been a part of this past year has taught me many things that I'd very much like to tell you about but would rather prefer to show you. But what I will leave you with is the biggest lesson I've learnt yet; your workspace is only going to be as great as you make it, so walking in with a mindset of excitement and happiness instead of dread and doom will make all the difference in your life.
