Hello, I'm Alexander.

I am an educated waiter (3 year's apprenticeship in Germany) and bartender (International Bartender Course Barcelona). I am in Melbourne on WHV and currently searching for a full-time job as a bartender or waiter.

I am an educated bartender and waiter from Germany whose passion is the hospitality, especially the professional restaurant and bar service. I‘ve experienced five years of professional hospitality in the hotel „Winzerhof“ in Rauenberg, Germany. Three years of this time have been a „restaurant expert“ apprenticeship with vocational school classes, which improved my knowledge about a professional service in all facets of the hospitality. Choosing the language profile in High School enabled the opportunity for me to study French and Italian, additional to mandatory English lessons since elemantary school. After succesfully completing my apprenticeship, I visited the European Bartender School in Barcelona, Spain, to gain more knowledge in mixing cocktails and the professional cocktail bar service. My work as Chef de rang in the Hotel „Winzerhof“ provided me a lot of experience in the professional restaurant service including the wine service and recommendation, welcoming guests, guest recommendations, practical work at the costumor‘s table (filleting fish), cash handling, banquet service and the a la carte service with own guests. Especially my close work together with the restaurant manager gave me the experience of a supervising position in heading and managing a smooth service execution with up to 140 guests in the a la carte restaurant as well as up to 150 guests in the banquet event area.
