Hello, I'm Lauren.
I am a passionate, friendly bartender from Cornwall (England) with a love for culture and all things Booze related and creative.
Starting out, I worked in a couple of bars in Cornwall, One specifically being in Newquay overlooking the beautiful Cornish coastline, this is where I made and served up an espresso martini for the first time and I fell in love with bartending. The creativity it allows and the passion it sparked in me was truly unexpected, but very much welcome. I found myself working harder than I ever had in that bar and with it, I found my communication with guests became more refined, along with my efficiency behind the bar. Overall, I would say I work well in both team and individual environments and I tend to learn things quickly. After taking the EBS kos international course, I am ready to keep expanding on my knowledge by travelling to as many places as I can and learning about the way they run their service industry and what their alcohol culture is like (alongside soaking up the beautiful countries of course!).
