Hello, I'm Zac.
I am a hard working bartender with a passion for cocktails and mixology. I enjoy music, skiing, and board/card games and I want to travel taking on new challenges and having new experiences leaning as much as I can, expanding my knowledge.
In total I have 5 years in hospitality, I started working as a waiter serving tables in a hotel restaurant were a learnt how restaurants are run and how to give excellent service with speed and efficiency. Quickly I was promoted to supervisor and I also started to work behind the many bars the hotel had. This taught me how to be a team leader and how to properly run a restaurant. Working functions at the hotel was were I first got my bar experience and working the functions made me fall in love with bar work. I had so much fun making drinks and interacting with guests I knew that I wanted to be a bartender. After 3 years at the hotel I chose to leave to go work at a cocktail bar/restaurant called Olive tree brasserie. I first started bouncing between waiting on tables and bar work but soon enough I was promoted to the bar supervisor, were I put in charge of the bar teams cleanliness and standards. Here is were I gained a lot of my bar and cocktail knowledge. I was taught how to do a line clean for beer lines and was given a good amount of cocktail and barista training I then had to teach to other staff. As supervisor I was also responsible for doing all drinks orders along with fruit/garnish orders and bar equipment orders. Now I work at a restaurant and cocktail bar called Lytham house. here the weekends are extremally busy, so working here has really helped me improve on my speed of service whilst up keeping a high standard of quality as well as all my other skills. Overall I am a Hard working, friendly, punctual, and passionate who is good at leading and working in a team with high standards of quality and cleanliness.
