Working in the hospitality sector, whether through waitering events or working front of house in my local gastropub, has been an essential learning curve in developing any bartender’s most important attribute, customer service. In addition, my work behind the bar has allowed this growth in sociability to be coupled with confidence, competence and a greater knowledge of the bartending industry.
