Most of my related work experience comes from working as a barista at Starbucks. Fun fact, when I applied to be a barista at Starbucks, I had the mental image of a bartender in mind and was a little disappointed when I realized that making beverages was only about 50% of the barista role. No regrets though, it is this foundational knowledge that has improved my work-ethic, provided me with transferable service skills, and kept my interest in becoming a bartender alive.
