Hello, I'm Saskia.
Ambitious bartender from Germany with a can-do-attitude. Favourite spirits: Gin and Bourbon.
Currently I am working as a barback at the Cloud One Bar at Motel One in Innsbruck, Austria. Before the pandemic, I have worked as a waitress for more than 4 years for different restaurants as well as a catering company. So far, I learned about different working environments, etiquette, logistics and requirements. Working in different settings also allowed me to develop my skills in terms of flexibility, adaptation, communication and team work. Why I want to work as a bartender? I really enjoy the social environment of bars but also the creative and aesthetic aspects of it. Most of all, however, bars are a place where all kinds of people go to, which gives me as a bartender the opportunity to also interact outside of my personal bubble and grow as an individual. Last but not least, some of my core memories with friends are conversations over a drink. Now I aim to sweeten my future customers' memories by adding that nice drink! I am looking forward to new experiences, growing personally and professionally as well as meeting people from all around the world!
