Hello, I'm Andreas.

My name is Andreas, and i am 24 years old. I was born and raised 30 minutes north of Oslo, where i still live. As a bartender I am hard working, quality focused and very service driven. I would also describe myself as kind and thoughtfull.

My bartender dream started on a vacation when i was 16, seeing how a good bartender can make the night or even the week for their costumers. That dream was first realised in late 2019 when i got to try myself in the cocktail bar at Oslo Bar & bowling. Due to my interest in mixed drinks since my late teens, and my preperation in expectance of this oppertunity, this was a challenge that i handled very well. Since then i moved from being mostly in the kitchen, to being almost exlusively in one of our bars, and mostly the cocktail bar. Due to several rounds of lockdown, our cocktail menu was reduced from a mix of classics and our own tasty creations down to just a few big selling classics. When our previous bar manager quit in the autmn of 2021, i applied for the position, but it was descided that we would not hire a new bar manager, and that all operations would be run by the operations manager. I was however given the responsibility of creating a new menu, train new employees and maintain the bar and stock room. As our bar is a relatively enterance level bar, our drinks could not be too complicated or pricy, but i searched around and came up with a menu containing old and contemporary classics. The new meny was mostly very succesful, with a few changes being made at a later point. I also worked on seasonal house cocktails of my own creation, with relatively good results. I was able to train most of our newer employees to a point where they became confortable with our recipes and basic bar technique. After taking the EBS advanced bartender course, i feel like my creativety has increased and passion for my work has increased to an all time high, and i am ready to make the move to more advanced work in a new bar.
