Hello, I'm Rhys.

I am a hard-working, committed, and passionate bartender from England. I am looking to relocate to Australia and continue my career in hospitality as a highly-skilled bartender and mixologist.

I have been bartending now for the past year and a half now, working in 2 venues where I have been able to serve people and practice my craft. I am a very dedicated bartender and every drink which I create must be a masterpiece itself, I’ve worked in bars where the drinks are more show and extravagant, this is where my garnish skills really became better. By working on a gin bar especially, I’ve become very fond of gin and have learnt so much about different gins, different brands and how different types of gin are so different from other types just by changing minute things in the process of making it. And not only have I learnt about Gin, when I attended the EBS school I was also able to learn a plethora of things about different spirits and how they differ from other spirit even though there a some very similar ingredients. With all this knowledge I’ve been able to gather in the last few years, I believe that I will be able to really refine my bartending in numerous ways in the next few years. I hope that with all this bartending, I will be able to travel the world and see things I’ve only ever dreamt of seeing, I want to work in bars where I can show off and really be a true bartender and yet have a bit of class in there too as I believe a polite yet fun bartenders who almost makes it a show when working are truely the best bartenders out there which is where I hope to be.
