

Hello, I'm Jam ROUAULT.
I'm a bartender from France currently searching for a job in France. I like to devote myself to my work with thoroughness, always with a smile ! My goal is to improve my skill set and to get more experiences.
Curious by nature, I have a strong interest in bar trades, learning languages, and traveling. This combination of interests is for me the best way to learn in depth. According to my point of view, bar trades are a combination between the expression of creativity, accuracy, and a sense of observation. When you are trying to improve yourself, you get results quickly. It's a very open environment where originality is put forward. In 2022, I was participating in a ebs (European Bartender School) formation in Thailand (Phuket) where I received my degree. I was living in Norway (Bergen) from the mid of November 2022 to June 2023. Just before leaving in order to find work at a larger scale, I was working in a well known old vintage american/parisian pub called "Violon Dingue" . I was an employee over there for more than a year and half as an extra bartender. Interested in discovering little-known/common spirits such as liqueurs from local agricultural productions at a larger scale, I would love to expand my knowledge about many types of creation. In the past, I had some little experiences as a bartender and waiter in a few French restaurant chains (for example, Hippopotamus). There is a certain variety among my professional experiences and the elements that I have studied. I own 3 university degree : one double university degree in foreign language, culture and civilization studies (thaï) / International economy & trades (First-class honours : ~15/20) and a university degree in computer science (3 + 3 years = 6 years in total). As an end-of-study internship, I worked as a sales assistant in a Neapolitan grocery store selling only 100% Italian products. Still in the process to "feed" my carriere with international experiences. As a person, I like to challenge myself, giving interest to creativity and being able to react quickly. Aware of my position within the company, I am friendly while keeping a critical mind. To have quality knowledge, I'm not afraid to commit mistakes without hesitation to take initiatives. Offering a service to customers in a setting where you really get out of the ordinary immediately attracted me. That is one of the reasons why I love this job. I thrive on trying new things and learning. In my spare time I do have hobbies such as practicing martial arts such as muay thai. I have been practicing for a little over 9 years now in competition. I have a great interest in discovering new cultures and different points of view, which is why I think traveling is necessary. In 2014, i did a eco-citizen humanitarian trip to Morocco, Mauritania, and in Mali with the aim of combating desertification (renovation of infrastructures, planting of fruit trees, distribution medical and school kits). I plan in the future to open my own bar with ephemeral themes based on traditional cultures of the world in Thailand. That is why getting worldwide experience is required and a need for my carriere's developpement.
