Hello, I'm Carlos Daniel.

I'm passionate about gastronomy and customer service, that’s why I decided to acquire professional formation in the food and beverages industry. I easily adapt to change and I’'m a good team player.

I did my six months internship mainly as a cook, but sometimes also as waiter and cashier, in one of Selina's hostel locations in Bogotá, Colombia. Talking to the bartender there I discovered my passion for this area of work. Working in a kitchen I developed my teamwork skills, but also the ability to manage big loads of work by myself, becaiuse we were only four people working distributed along all the shifts, so sometimes I ended during the night shift alone. I also developed my service skills when I had to work as a waiter. That opportunity gave me the chance to interact more in a more direct way with the customers, compared to the moments when i was in the kitchen, solving inconvinients and trying to offer the best service possible. Between June and October (2022) i worked as a bartender in a Pub in Bogotá called El Mono Bandido where I expanded my knowledge about beers and the usage of a beer draft. I also had the opportunity to learn how order supplies and maintain a regular stock of the products we were using; apart from developing my bartender skills while working. During my last two months working there I was put in charge of the bar and I started developing my leadership skills organizing the working schedules and delegating duties for each of the six bartenders I was in charge of.
