Hello, I'm Loïc.
I am 25 Years old, Swiss and currently doing seasonal work. I have very good language skills and great interest in human relationships. I am open-minded, flexible and communicative. With the skills i have i am interested in working abroad.
My first 2 Bartending jobs where in Basel (Switzerland). The first one was in a freshly reopened bar. It was my first experience as bartender. Because it was freshly reopened i enjoyed it as i could learn faster from my colleague. After some time I got more responsibility and also had to order the drinks/food we would sell. Later that year i had the chance to work in a very busy bar in Basel which was a new, yet very nice experience, as i had to serve nonstop the guests we had. I liked the challenge and mastered it with perfection. Even learned new thing from the head bartender who worked over 40 years in the industry. (about 1 year experience) My third working place was a bartending-job in a 4* Hotel in Davos (Switzerland) during the winter season, 1 month after I finishing my EBS course. It was a new experience which i really enjoyed. I did not only bartend but also had to help in the service. I really enjoyed bartending, meeting and teaching people around the world some aspect of the cocktail industry. I also learned new things from my bartending colleagues as they learned new things from me. (about 4 months experience) After working in the mountains, i went to work in a Bar/Pub on an island in Greece. Here I was able to create Cocktails and also bring in new ideas on what to improve for the bar, as it reopened after 3 years. As we were a small team i educated my coworker on how to properly do cocktails and maintain a clean environment around the bar. In Greece I have learned how to have more responsibility behind the Bar. After the bar in greece i found a job in the swiss mountains where i worked alone in a local bar. I was responsible for pretty much everything, doing stuck, counting money, cleaning bar and toilets. I worked there for 4 months before i came back to greece. I started in late april there and was mostly alone until june. I had to count srock so the owner could order stuff for the bar. As the season did go on i became a student manager. Which means i did the closing, counting money and stock and report to the owner. In september, my last month working at the bar in greece i became manager and had to order things myself i also had to call people if they were problem (broken fridge, bad electricity.. etc.) I will come back next year (2024) as full manager/bartender. Which means looking for stuff, creating the mwnu aswell the cocktails, creating a book with all the cocktails that are on the menu.
