Hello, I'm Michael.
Enthusiastic, hardworking bartender from London with a love of bar work and keen to learn more, particularly in the art of mixology.
On a year off before University, I studied bartending at the European Bartending School, achieving 91% at the end of the course. During that time, I also passed the white and yellow levels of the World Flair Association, and have moved on to the orange level in recent weeks. After this month, I was one of three students who were retained to work as a bartender for the rest of the season. Having now returned to London, I am looking to further my knowledge of bartending, in a bar where I can focus on cocktails and improving my skill. Having been a part in many plays and musicals throughout my school life (both internal and external), I love working in a team and, after two months working in a bar, I feel this skill has only improved. My previous work experience has been in theatres, which I found extremely useful, being able to transfer the performance skills into the bar. Coming from a talkative family, I am friendly, smiley and always eager to help out.
