Hello, I'm John.
Trustworthy bartender who is curious to learn more about the intricacies of bartending, with a love for the classic cocktails.
My job in the theatre gave me experience that makes me more suitable for a job as a bartender. I had to work in a team, communicating who's on what shift and at what location as well as relaying any problem that may be carried over from shift to shift. This had to be done clearly and accurately, otherwise customers could be left with a poor quality of service. One of my responsibilities meant I had to cash up the sales taken throughout the shift. This had to go onto a cashing up sheet and be split into electronic payments, phone payments and cash payments. and all cash payments were added into a cashbox. As part of finishing a shift I had to leave four hundred and fifteen pounds in the cash box and take the rest of this cash left over to the bank. Often the sum of this cash was above one thousand pounds. While not specifically relevant to the skill of bartending, I was entrusted with the job taught me the importance of punctuality and demonstrated my level of integrity to be trusted with large sums of money.
