Hello, I'm Yolandi.
My passion has always been to travel the world and experience life. I can not see myself working in an office. I love being someplace experience something different and feeling so surreal and in the moment. I want to bartend mix drinks.
I first started as a call centre agent saving money. I then went to The Travel Learning College and got my diploma. I worked at a travel agency as an intern and at a ski resort in the coffee shop as part of my practical for the college. I always wanted to work on a cruise ship or holiday resort. I worked at a motor finance company at the reception area while trying to find a job on a cruise ship but they wanted a canidate with hospitality experience. I then found a recruitment agency and got a job at a carnival in America. I know what its like working long hours on your feet. I worked in the food wagons, ticket booth and on the rides. Working at a carnival is such a unique experience and the skills you learn like setting up rides and doing hard labor working with the guys. Between the carnival jobs I did a 6 month nails and massage course but did not graduate the course. I recently did a international bartending course and loved mixing cocktails and learning a bit of the history of the cocktials and liquor. The skills you get to learn and being able to put your own spin on it is awesome. I have a great work ethic and love learning something new. I also like getting out of my comfort zone doing something I wouldnt normally do, like gettin a job in Ameriaca just getting on a plane going somewhere Ive never been before was a huge accomplishment for me. I went through so many experiences I cant wait whats next for me.
