I started to work as a waitress and as a barista while I was still in school, at 15. I was always the youngest, in every place, and this helped me to be humble and to seek learning from every situation, good or bad. When I was 17 I got hired from a Michelin starred restaurant. I’m so grateful that I got to work with such professional people, they taught me politeness and how to show elegance in my moves. At 19 I wanted to try seasonal work, so I started to work in a luxury beach hotel. That was where I learned how important teamwork is. Last year, at 20, is when my bartending journey begins. I got hired in a fancy bar where I met my mentor. Before and after my shifts we arranged lessons about spirits, drinks and even mixology. My top achievement to this day is when I successfully replaced him for a weekend when he went on holiday.
