Hello, I'm Grace.

I am a driven and hardworking individual who has a passion for helping in a community as well as having a positive impact on those around me. I am able to converse fluently in unfamiliar situations and can lead a team.

I have excellent experience with team leadership and can effectively organize a group. I was part of a small team that organized a TEDx talk at Tanglin Trust School. I was leading the events and logistics team, specifically set design and event coordination. Through this experience and leading a team, I know the importance of communication and effective team management. The event was a great success and was up to the international standard maintained by TED talks. I also have experience with hospitality work, as I worked as a waitress for Singapore's leading hotel chain: The Shangri-La. I worked weekend and weekday shifts, ensuring customers were satisfied and answering any inquiries as well as waitressing the buffet breakfasts. I have good communication skills, exemplified through my work with Hong Kong's biggest English newspaper: The South China Morning Post, where I was working within the editorial department as well as the photography and videography departments.
