Expanding my knowledge and experience is my goal. I want to meet different people and learn from/with them about the world of bartending and hone my newly acquired skills behind the bar. At Holm House Hotel I have been taught a lot about customer service and how important managing the bar/FOH is. Every staff member is unique in their abilities and having been shown different aspects of their job and/or department has helped me better communicate/work with everybody as well as train new members at a pace effective to their capabilities. Working behind a classy bar is brilliant and enjoyable but I do not wish to be limited by that. Getting the opportunity to also experience a nightlcub job in a busy city centre or an outdoor tiki bar by the beach or even a snowy resort up the mountains would offer anyone amazing new skills, ethics, and different perspectives.
