Hello, I'm Kristina.
I am passionate about spirits and cocktail making. I spent 6 years buying spirits for a large UK wholesaler and therefore my knowledge of brands and suppliers is extensive. I can manage a team but also be managed and am a team player.
My most recent role was Wholesale Purchasing Manager at Amathus Drinks PLC; a London based one-stop drink solution for the UK on-trade. The first three years I spent purchasing UK spirits, champagnes and selected beers as well as learning the grey market and importing goods from Europe. Other responsibilities included setting promotions, seeking out new and interesting products and supplier management. Later I was promoted to Wholesale Purchasing Manager which gave me full responsibility over the negotiations for the UK goods and I trained and developed the wholesale side of the purchasing team. Being part of an expanding company required me to be exceptionally flexible, innovative in my ways of approaching problems and proactive in my ideas for moving the business forward. I have an exceptional aptitude for new challenges and have accomplished a great deal since I first joined the F&B industry including completing my MCIPS diploma. Previous to this I spent over a year running a wine and spirits shop in Central London where I consolidated my customer service skills in a high-pressured environment. This role included managing a team of 6; stock control and problem solving were large parts, and as a brand new shop I played a large part in opening the shop.
