Hello, I'm Harry.
Friendly and funny bartender from London with 4 years experience in a range of bars. Now looking at cocktail bars after completing my EBS bartenders course and mixology course. Love an old fashioned!
I have worked in a number of different pubs and bars with a wide range of products. I initially started out working for the chain Wetherspoons where the initial bar training was intensive and here I learnt a great deal about the basics of bartending. I then moved on to larger pubs where the demand for quick service was greater and this taught me to work quickly and efficiently whilst still maintaining the quality of my service. Where I work currently, my role is more based around management and the running of the bar between myself and a team. Here I have learnt about the responsibilities of running a bar, i.e, taking stock, floating the till, opening and closing and dealing with customer problems. The collect of all this experience has made me aware of the responsibilities and roles of the bartender as well as giving me the confidence to execute them to a high level and be a welcoming presence to the guests.
