Is there anything more fun than learning new things? I think not. And thankfully for me, being a positive and curious hospo-worker I learn new things every day - and it's the best feeling I've yet to experience.
Working as an all arounder in a busy dive bar in Sydney handling stressful situations and multi-tasking is something that comes naturally to me. Being a small team on shift, teamwork was cruical to get through the night smoothly, and simultaneously being independent and making own decisions to make the experience for customers and staff better was important every day. Positivity and curiosity is what makes me love hospitality, meeting people everyday and learning new things is definately two of my favourite things to invest my time in. Being able to assist and make someone's day better, one meal or drink at a time is such a mighty feeling. Something else I like a great lot is problem solving, I belive with a positive mindset you can always figure out a smart solution to a complicated problem.
