Bartender from Italy, I am curious and creative with a passion for Italian wines!

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Nicola, I am 31 years old, and I am looking for my next work experience. Ever since I was a child, I have always been passionate about this profession, constantly striving to improve and learn more. I started working as a bartender in bars in my city, then I felt the need to step out of my comfort zone and try an experience abroad to improve my English and myself. I spent 3 months in Dublin, then I left for Dubai for a year and a half. It was a fantastic experience where I had the opportunity to learn a lot about the world of spirits, bar management, and different service styles, including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and private events. In 2020, I decided to return to Italy and had the opportunity to join The St. Regis Venice, the best hotel in the city, where I held the position of Bar Supervisor. My responsibilities included managing stock, both in terms of placing orders with suppliers and inventory, as well as researching and introducing new products. In this role, I was able to strengthen my leadership skills by organizing the daily work of Bartenders and Barbacks, arranging training sessions for new products, new drinks, and menu items, always with a focus on ensuring the best possible experience for the customer. In September 2024, I was selected as a finalist for the Marriott Rising Star award. At the end of this year, I decided to leave The St. Regis Venice family to focus on my biggest goal, which is to gain work experience in the United States.
