Hello, I'm Jake.
I was born and raised in Sligo town and am currently studying Part-time in UCD. I am excited to learn and gain experience in this field, and pride myself on having good etiquette and believe I could prove useful as a employee.
After participating in the EBS Dublin course I knew that i needed to delve further into the industry. For the duration of two summers I worked in a burrito diner in Sligo town, Street cart. Working there helped me to develop my Social skills , Hospitality and Cookery skills to a great extent and I believe all these skills will transfer directly into the catering industry. My life has a heavily revolves around sport, Basketball being my favorite. I play for the "Sligo All Stars" basketball club, Currently playing in the U19, U20 and LLSR mens leagues. I find that Basketball has been a great tool to expand my social understanding, handle pressure, promote team play and work hard to achieve. One of my favorite aspects of the EBS course was the social scene, I loved learning, dancing , playing and much more with my fellow students and the three brilliant instructors. Although I had great fun I understood my disciplines and I see myself turning that fun into productivity at the same time and hope to have a great run in the Hospitality/Bar Industry.
