Hello, I'm Kamil.

I am experienced bartender in a high volume bars, even-tempered, hard-worker, polite & bright. I moved to Amsterdam 2 years ago, here I've discovered the world of bartending. My goal is to feel the guests comforable and share my passion.

I am 29, Polish-born, Dutch. I attended a music school in Poland (violin & piano). When I was 16, I moved to Netherlands, quitte my muscial study and choose more technical road to ICT, but neither this was mine calling. Ever since I was 17 I've worked part-time/full-time as a bartender in Gringo's, a high-volume Mexican restaurant & cocktail bar in Doetinchem. I moved more than two and half years ago to Amsterdam (at age of 26) as I wanted to grow and find new challanges as I quit study of Informatics. My first job in Amsterdam was at 5&33, beautiful restaurant/bar & lounge, here I discovered how much to learn I still have in the new world of bartending. I loved the place, ambiance and co-workers, but I didn't feel satisfied working as a barback after all those years making cocktails and without perspective of becoming a bartender. I got an opportunity to work in a busy place 'Majestic' with a decent cocktail menu, as a bartender and I took it. I quickly learned few new methods and receipes, but I wondered if that was a right choice as there was not much more to gain experience-wise. This is the reason why I've chosen to attend EBS Amsterdam. I wanted to learn how to improve my skills as bartender and to create own products, cocktails. But above all that I wanted to meet new people from the bartending scene in Amsterdam. After EBS I have changed my job right away, working part-time for BarsOnSight (EBS' Amsterdam sister company lead by Dillan) and full-time at lovely, boutique Hotel Morgan&Mees, where I work as a head-bartender insuring the quality, effeciency and work-flow behind the bar, with a beautiful signature cocktails list.
