Bartender at Circle Lounge – Halifax 2016-2018 Responsibilities: • Worked front of house, on the bar and served drinks, measuring spirits and handling cash • Tidied the bar area, served in very busy periods and took on additional shifts when required • Served customers, built relationships and was consistently friendly and talkative • Maintained social media platforms (mainly Instagram) to raise the service profile, audience and popularity levels • Creating new cocktails for themed weeks and new menus, using creativity, flair and building on knowledge learned on the job. Yes, it's copied and pasted from my CV but it tells you everything you need to know; this and the EBS International Bartending Course combined to create a deep-seated passion that will not leave.
