Friendly, creative bartender from Germany with a lot of own cocktail receipts and a heart for the bar scene in Cape Town.
A few years ago (around 2010) I started making cocktails at home, for example when someone was visiting me. I had a lot of ideas for new cocktails and started writing the receipts down - so now I already have more then 30 own cocktails. After working in different bars and restaurants I started working at the bar in the Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin in 2015, where the guests are coming from all around the world and a lot of work there, especially in the intermission of the show. But we have to organize and prepare the restaurant there when guests get a menu aswell. In 2017 I went to a little cocktail workshop in Berlin and this year, in 2018, I made the four week bartender education at EBS Cape Town - it was so intense, we learned a lot of things there (theory, cocktail receipts, flairing, free pouring, bar training and so on). After staying in Cape Town I aleady kept on making cocktails in a professional way, but I would love to do it more often for other people, so I would like to work in a bar with a bigger cocktail menu.
