My passions for bartending originate out of my love for baking and cooking. Food should be something to enjoy, not purely for fuel. Through time I learned that making drinks was even more fulfilling, since my fascination for this art gave me the chance to expand my horizons, to seek new experiences and to look further than merely the senses of taste and smell. These are certainly important, however I believe that the entire journey can make the taste better. The experience of being a tutor has taught me the importance of patience. I've gotten the chance to refine my analytical skills through getting to the heart of the problems that the student had to face and making the problem digestible for the student. Living in the middle of Amsterdam comes with a lot of benefits, especially the easy access to a huge amount of bars, making it possible to experience the differences between bars.
