Hard Work
Vibeke

Hello, I'm Vibeke.

Dedicated young girl from Denmark with a passion for spreading smile among people and ready to learn new things. I want to travel the world, have new experiences and learn about bartending

Bartending has opened up a whole new world for me. Before I went to the 4 week international bartender course, I had no knowledge of bartending - or the fact that tequila can actually taste good, if drunk the right way- but now I’ve discovered a new passion. Which I can’t wait to realise and learn more about. What I love most about bartending is the joy that it spreads, all the different kinds of people which it introduces you too and the art of mixing different ingredients into tasteful creations. Through earlier jobs and my daily life have I experienced, that some of my best qualities as a worker are; that I’m organized and therefore effective and good at maintaining overview in pressured situations; I’m a quick learner; I’m hardworking and very passionated about the things I do. I don’t have a lot of experience within the bar or restaurant world, but I’m more than ready to learn and I have a lot of experience from previous jobs - so I’m not entirely a rookie. I graduated from High School this year, and are now taking a year (or two) off from school. Alongside with attending school I also held 2 free time jobs one as a cleaner and one as a tennis coach. So I am quite used to keeping several balls in the air and organizing my time effectively. My work in the world of tennis has given me a lot of experience on matters such as conflict handling/solving, organizing big events, learning quickly from previous mistakes and being extrovert and open towards everyone. I’ve done a lot of volunteer work for organisations as UNICEF , Red Cross, the Danish Tennis Society, my Tennis Club and the municipality that I live in. It has primarily been for the purpose of fundraising, activity management and organization. Beneath language I’ve written quite a few. Since I come from a small country with a very globalized profile, I’ve learned all of these languages in school. English is my second language and I’m therefore fluent in it. I’m able to understand Swedish and Norwegian without problems, and I studied french for 6 years and can understand quite a lot, but only answer with simpler sentences. I have a couple of hobbies, the major one being tennis (as you may have guessed by now), but I also have a great passion for theater and meeting people cross-border, which I have lived out by joining several programs (fx the Euro Scholar program, student exchange programs, etc.) and travelling. And then I have my new hobby; bartending.
