Hello, I'm Thetsu.

I have hospitality background and experiences that I went to schools in Switzerland, Amsterdam and have 3 years working experience in United States.



I had experiences in hospitality and tourism positions as I worked in the travel agent company; AVA TRAVEL SERVICES PTE Co. Ltd in Yangon, Myanmar with the position of receptionist and online operational management for my first time job for about three years. However, I did my study in the field of hospitality management in Switzerland (HTMi; Hotel and tourism management institute of Switzerland) in 2015 and did my first international internship as Hospitality Management Trainee for a year round in St. Regis Deer Valley, Utah State, USA in 2016 whereby I finished around January 2017. Referring back to my experiences and skills that I have gained at my previous positions would make me an ideal candidate for the following position with no doubt. From my first work experience, I have developed strong communicating, social dealing, writing, dealing with costumers, and managing skills. My duties included accepting the phone calls, checking the customers’ mails and arranging beforehand for the tour dates. One of my main duties was also dealing with designing the marketing operational equipments such as pamphlets, souvenirs, website domains, and representative marketing functions. This duty requires editing skills, an ability to convey complex ideas, and dealing with different people. From my second job (intern) experience, I have gained the knowledge of food handling, and the way of management work in food and beverage department. I was a rotational internship student in food and beverage department that I started from the server’s assistant to the server, host, in-room-dining, banquet and manger’s shadow. This has afforded me the opportunity to become familiar with the field of food and beverage step by step. In particular, through my work and study with hospitality school and internship, I have become heavily involved in hospitality and tourism field. After my internship, I did have some bartending schooling in Amsterdam for a couple of months and I did go back to United States. I am a United States permanent resident and currently working full time as a dining room supervisor with the Athletic Club here in Bay Area, San Francisco. I am working with them for 2 years already and now is the time for me to decide to move around and see new things with new environment.
