Hello, I'm Daniel.
I am a friendly and ambitious individual with robust experience within the hospitality industry. Fun, adaptable, reliable and punctual, I believe I possess the fundamental attributes to be successful in every task/role I am given.
After graduating from EBS, I swiftly secured a job as a bartender at a cocktail bar/club based in Cardiff. After 4 years of work and progression, I am now currently an Assistant Manager for the venue, delivering exceptional service that prides itself in producing high quality cocktails. Throughout my years working with the company as a bartender, I have obtained the ability to efficiently deliver high quality drinks at consistently high volumes with accuracy and precision. This is in addition to the enhancement of my drinks knowledge, as well as my bar etiquette, of which have naturally grown from strength to strength. As a manager, I have learnt to successfully lead a team of 25-30 staff members, and operationally manage a cocktail bar venue that has a capacity of 750 people. Here, my communication skills have naturally flourished, and I am looking to take them to the next level. I believe other skills developed from my time as a manager, such as crisis management, stocktake, business management, and human resources, allow me to strongly believe I am well equipped to lead a team in any cocktail bar environment. Ultimately I am an ambitious individual who thrives in a workplace that is centred around socialising, communicating and working as a team.
