Friendly, social, intuitive bartender from England keen to get back behind the bar.

For my last year at University of Sussex, I wanted to simultaneously finish my degree whilst overlapping into the beginning of a possible future career, in addition to obtaining an admirable life skill. Throughout my second year I worked behind the bar serving drinks and food at the American Express Stadium in Brighton. Whilst I loved the core components of hospitality, such as sociability, emotional intelligence and the ability to curate another persons experience, in which throughout my life I have always felt close to these values, I felt like something was missing from that experience. As all of these characteristics are fundamental to bartending, whilst also having a wandering eye for flair, I found a true drive for serving cocktails and genuine comfortability behind the bar. Within a week of finishing my course, I solo bartended a friends party to throw myself into the deep end and absolutely loved it, receiving a great reception for the service as well as sealing the deal for me. It also affirmed just how much I loved meeting and talking to people, but from the other side of the bar for a change. My hope now is to not only first find a job behind the bar for my final year/onwards, but gain any short/long term experience I can which will better my future as a bartender.
